Is it possible to feed dogs vegetarian food?
Dogs can certainly be fed vegetarian/Vegan food, although neither
of them is naturally vegetarian (dogs are omnivorous and cats carnivorous).
Cats and dogs belong to the carnivorous class, but this is not really
important: pandas, for example, although carnivorous, are almost Vegan.
These animals would never naturally eat anything of what is found in
canned food.

Is it possible to feed cats vegetarian food?
It is possible, but you must only use a specially formulated vegetarian
cat food such as AMÍ CAT. This is because cats have some special nutritional requirements. Cats must follow a special diet, as they need an amino-acid
called taurine which is found in animals' muscles. This amino-acid has
already been artificially synthesized, and is present in common (non-vegetarian)food
on the market. Vegetarian cats must integrate it. Lack in taurine may
lead to blindness and even death. AMÍ CAT contains taurine,
as well as preformed vitamin A and arachidic acid.

My cat sometimes vomits, is this due to the food?
This question is not actually frequently asked - but it does occur and people are naturally concerned. It is not caused because of the food being vegetarian, but can be due to a number of causes, some possibly serious. Most cats will sometimes regurgitate food, and do so quite effortlessly.
There are many reasons why they may do this, one of which can be over
eating. Please see our feeding guide to check
the levels of food you are giving your cat. AMÍ CAT is concentrated so
the amount you should feed may be less than you expect. If your cat is
sick frequently then seek assitance from your vet
